Our Company 1. Our company and our services Mac Guinea was founded in Malabo as a Shipping Agency and Stevedoring Company in 1990. Nineteen years later, MAC GUINEA has grown-up complementing our original and most important shipping services with inland transport, forwarding and air cargo ground handling. We have permanent offices in Malabo, Bata and Luba, which are the three main sites in Equatorial Guinea concerning logistic operations. Our philosophy is to be available to offer an integral and coordinate service in Equatorial Guinea, which allows importers and exporters to find a solution for all logistic operations. At the same time we can offer maritime shipping lines and air cargo companies a dynamic and efficient service of agency and an extraordinary knowledge of Equatorial Guinean potential shipping market. Moreover, combining all above services with our husbanding capability, we are able to offer all logistic services needed to carry on any kind of project in Equatorial Guinea. 1.1. Shipping agency We are Shipping Agency for regular shipping lines such as Delmas CMA - CGM, Marguisa and Nordana. We also act as agents of tramp navigation companies and charter vessels calling Equatorial Guinea ports in a non regular basis. Finally, we provide agency service to tankers calling the different oil and gas terminals and to oil drilling devices such as drilling platforms, seismic vessels, tug boats and others. We cover all ports in Equatorial Guinea. The consignation of more than 3.000 calls in our history assures an experimented service and a good knowledge of shipping procedures of this country. During 2.008 we have acted as agency of more than 250 vessel calls in different ports of Equatorial Guinea. Husbanding in Equatorial Guinea is important: We assist crew changes, visas, accommodation, arrangement of spares and supplies purchase or importation, plane tickets, medical assistance and all other services. Maritime Stevedoring Mac Guinea has great experience in the handling, loading and movement of containerized, RoRo, Break Bulk and heavy cargo. We perform stevedoring operations in the commercial ports of Malabo and Bata. Our equipment and our team is fit for handling all this cargo with the necessary care and safety, but taking care of obtaining a fast operation. Our fleet of trucks, taken care of at the highest standard, can assure both our stevedoring operations, and transportation of any kind of goods within the country with safety. Drilling Business: Since 1994, when oil drilling activity started, MAC GUINEA has performed the handling of containers, break bulk, drilling mud products, bagged and palletised chemical cargo, as well as all kind of tools and heavy equipment parts. Offering a wide range of material and handling equipment – from forklifts to a fleet of modern mobile cranes with lifting capacity from 5 up to 65 tons – MAC GUINEA has the best equipment for a fast and safe handling of all types of maritime cargo. In Malabo MAC GUINEA has, for storage of cargo, a yard at the airport road (Km. 4) with covered and closed warehouses if needed. We also participate in the Malabo Container Terminal which handles all Maritime containers coming thru the commercial port. In Bata MAC GUINEA has a yard, over 20.000 square meters, where a new container terminal is being developed. During 2.008 we have handled 9.000 maritime containers and over 60.000 metric tons of break bulk and rolling cargo. 1.3. Air Cargo Ground Handling Division Mac Guinea Air Freight Division places our organization as the most powerful option for the handling and logistics in the air cargo field, covering the needs of our clients in the swiftest and most efficient way. As the IBERIA and ROYAL AIR MAROC handling and cargo agent in E.G. we can provide their worldwide nets in order to place your cargo anywhere in the world. In 2.007 we have handled 192 metric tons of air cargo and issued over 200 export AWB. Our well trained staff is able to fulfil the technical traffic requirements of all cargo airlines. Reports, notifications and other communications are sent as per standard marked by airline, always. Our commercial net assures airline the highest market share possible. Again proactivity and information are leading our customers to an increase of activity. Our facilities at Malabo International Airport are the technical component for storage, acceptance and release.
